never in a million years ... part one

Closer view
Check out this bring-on-Spring Emmeline by Melissa! Freshcut fabrics make for such a sweet rendition of any apron. Make sure to head over to the Flickr group and see how others have (brilliantly) interpreted the Emmeline Apron pattern!

... would I have guessed that I would have sold out of my first printing of Emmeline Apron patterns in three week's time! Thanks to your overwhelmingly positive reception of Miss Em, she'll have to be on backorder for a little less than a week while we wait for the second printing to ship out. I know you'll understand if you order a pattern and it takes a little longer to arrive, but we are aiming to get out any orders for Emmelines around March 4th. Thank you so much for your patience and support!

In the meantime, if you're just itchin' to get a-stitchin', please consider supporting my wholesale retailers by purchasing the patterns from them. I know that Yuki at LA Chakra has about 25 Emmelines in stock. Also, be sure to check out some of the pattern/fabric kits available at Monkey Foot Designs! I'm so excited to see that Kris has unearthed some of that hard-to-find Gnome fabric for her Mischievous Gnome Messenger Bag kit! She's also put together the Chocolate Lollipop fabric and some beautiful out of print Urban Chicks fabric that would make a stunning duo for the Emmeline Apron.

Stay tuned for "Never in a Million Years ... Part Deux" to find out the name of Little Miss Apron #2 - and boy do I have a lot of choices!

Meg

With an apron like the Emmeline, it's not surprising you sold out. It is so delicious to look at (I actually have a photo of it as my desk top right now.)

I love that someone is selling kits with fabric. That's always the part I'm so afraid of, trying to find fabric to use. I feel like I have no taste!

As a father of an Emmeline, I endorse this ridiculously gorgeous and perfect ode to spring apron. Nice job!

I would have guessed it! It's fabulous! And good for you----I'm glad so many others have found your wonderful pattern...

Wow! That's just fantastic! I feel a little guilty having a copy the pattern, as I'm 9 months pregnant and won't be sewing it for a month or so when clearly there are people out there who need it now! But the promise of something beautiful and fresh that was fitted was so appealing, and this is by far the most feminine-without-being-over-the-top apron pattern I've seen. :)

Congrats on striking gold Meg! I absolutely adore this design, sexy and feminine, I'm looking forward to sporting this in the kitchen. I just ordered mine from LA Chakra since I'm sort of impatient that way. I'm going to pay you for coaching lessons on pushing designs out the door, great job!

I love your patterns. Especially the one of the apron. I just wish that I could sew better so I can attempt to try it.

I love my Emmeline apron made for me by Amy over at www.amyskin.blogspot.com who was my partner in the Sassy Apron Swap. I have a pic on my blog of me modeling it. I went LA Chakkra's Ebay store--she's sold out of the pattern also. I have received so many compliments on this particular apron, and I would love to sew some up...can I get on the backorder list for a pattern, por favor?

Hey, Meg! I love this apron! I've decided to make it for all the women in my family. I bought a kit from Monkey Foot Designs and it came in the mail quickly. I got those fabrics in the washer that day and had made the aprons the next evening! Thanks so much for making it available!
