barcelona skirts
I already know this skirt set will be an all-time favorite. Kind of like that dress my mom bought me when I was twelve that I still wear. Often. Well, world ... get used to seeing me in this skirt/apron get-up!
The apron overlay is completely reversible! Did I mention that I've fallen in love with this skirt?
The sewing was simple enough, if you know how to sew in a zipper. Even if you don't - no need to despair. Amy explains it all in layman's terms.
You can get the pattern over at Sew, Mama, Sew.

I think we may see this elsewhere too because it is soooo cute!!! Unique is a better word. Your so 21st century Tasha Tudor...she'd be proud!
what a fantastic shape and the colours together fantastic!!love the red toenails!!!!
That is absolutely beautiful. I love love love your fabric choices!
It's been a couple years since I bought a pattern for a skirt, but I might jump for this one.
amazing! the fabrics, the form. i won the pattern over at sew, mama, sew this spring and have yet to make myself one. now, i'm completely inspired. so so pretty!!
SO Cute! Love the fabrics you chose.
Your version is just SO much more appealing than the one featured on the pattern itself. Hmm. Might have to reconsider making this one again.
My one concern, though, is whether the apron sides flop around all funny when you sit down. I guess it doesn't matter so much though since the apron part is reversible. I suppose it just reveals the reverse fabric then?
That is the cutest skirt I've seen in a long time! That needs to be made in little girls sizes!!!!!
Omygosh. Absolutely adorable. I wish I could sew!!
Great skirt!
Super cute...love the color combos.
Hey Honey,
So fun to see the finished product. Direct Jenny (Fabrics...) to your site - she will be delighted to see your interpretation.
You know I love the RED!
