I love the bag!!!!! Such straight lines!! :) I know it's weird to say, but I'm still a beginner on the whole sewing thing and I have yet to acquire the skill of being able to sew such straight lines! Kudos to you ;)!

Hey Meg,

Happy New Year to you.

I just wanted to congratulate you on your pattern business. I'm so happy for you that shops are stocking your patterns and that you offer wholesale too. It's a great achievement. Well done!

Ran across your blog the other day and love the apron pattern. What size does it go up to and would it be easy to alter for larger sizes?

Thanks!

Meg McElwee said...

The Emmeline Apron is made to be a one-size-fits-all pattern. For an experienced sewist, however, the size could be easily altered.

Very exciting! I ordered the apron and the bag pattern today - I can't wait to get them.

Originally you said that you were going to include the laptop sleeve pattern the bag pattern - is that still the case (or am I going to have to try and figure it out on my own - LOL).

I am in LOVE with that bag!
That fabric is so yummy! Do you know who makes it? I have never seen it before!

I recently got my pattern for the bag and I'm very excited to start working on it. I'm pretty much a novice with sewing, so I have question that I'm actully kind of embarrassed to ask. I can't figure out which fabrics correspond with the pattern parts. I know that A is the brown corduroy. But which one is B and C? Is B the hearts/pear and C the yellow dots or vice versa. Thanks for any help you can provide before I go off and buy the wrong amounts of fabrics. :)
